Terms of Service
Effective August 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of LendForma. By accessing the service, creating an account or subscribing to LendForma Complete, you agree to them.
What LendForma provides
LendForma provides software for preparing personal financial statements and collecting, reconciling, reviewing and exporting borrower-provided application information. LendForma is not a bank, lender, loan broker, credit bureau, accounting firm, law firm or financial adviser. It does not underwrite credit, recommend approval, guarantee funding or guarantee that a lender will accept a package.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawful use of information entered into LendForma. Review all figures, details, calculations, disclosures, signatures and exported documents before submitting them to another person or institution. Demonstration data is illustrative only and should not be submitted as your information.
Accounts, workspaces and security
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. Keep access to your email or Google account secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may use guest mode, but guest changes are not saved to a LendForma account. Workspace managers must invite only authorized teammates, assign the least access needed, protect invitation links and revoke invitations that should no longer be used.
LendForma Complete
LendForma Complete is a recurring monthly or annual subscription that unlocks application packages, supporting schedules, readiness reviews, team invitations and the other Complete capabilities shown before checkout. Stripe processes payment and may provide the receipt. You may manage or cancel your subscription from Account; cancellation takes effect after the paid period. Payment failures may receive a grace period. Refund requests are reviewed case by case; applicable statutory rights are not limited.
Borrower-prepared schedules, signatures and documents
Unless expressly identified otherwise, financial schedules are borrower-prepared and are not audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements. Signature tools are provided for convenience. You are responsible for obtaining every signer’s permission, verifying identity, determining whether an electronic signature is appropriate and meeting lender, legal, recordkeeping and delivery requirements. LendForma does not provide CPA assurance or certify a signature’s legal effect.
AI-assisted intake and review
AI features organize information and propose edits, questions or likely follow-up items. A live voice interview sends microphone audio to OpenAI over WebRTC; typed and transcribed narratives are sent for structured validation with a minimized statement index. They do not provide financial, legal or lending advice, estimate approval odds or make credit decisions. No AI proposal becomes part of a statement solely because it was generated: you must review and explicitly apply it. You remain responsible for checking every accepted fact and final document. Do not provide Social Security numbers, birth dates, signatures, full account numbers or unnecessary personal details in an AI conversation.
Document extraction
When enabled and explicitly used, document extraction sends the full submitted PDF or image to OpenAI for transient processing. LendForma does not treat the upload as a stored document and discards its in-memory copy after success, failure, cancellation or timeout. Extraction results are candidates, not verified balances or assurances of completeness. You must compare proposed facts with the source document before applying them. A document-backed source label does not mean that a bank, lender or LendForma independently verified the value.
Acceptable use
Do not use LendForma to violate law, impersonate another person, submit false information, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, distribute malware, probe security controls or process another person’s sensitive information without authorization.
Your content and our service
You retain ownership of the information and documents you create. You give LendForma the limited permission necessary to host, process, back up and export that content solely to operate and secure the service. LendForma and its software, design, branding and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Availability and changes
We work to keep LendForma reliable and secure, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or change. We may add, modify or retire features, suspend abusive activity, or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or legal compliance.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, LendForma is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, lender acceptance or fitness for a particular financial or legal purpose. To the extent permitted by law, LendForma will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of opportunity, or decisions made using a statement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use and changes to these Terms
You may stop using LendForma at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms, fraud, security risk or legal requirement. We may update these Terms and will post the revised version and effective date here. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
